HEAT PUMP · SOUND · BBL

Acoustic assessment for your heat pump.

Before installation, have the proposed outdoor unit and location assessed against the relevant sound rules. You receive a clear technical route for your installer, permit preparation or own decision-making.

THE QUIET ROUTE

Choose the right location first, then install.

An outdoor unit may be technically suitable yet poorly placed. We bring the relevant details together before the installation or enclosure creates extra work.

01Unit and sound data

We review the product specification, relevant sound power and intended operating conditions.

02Location and surroundings

We consider the location, plot boundary, facades, opening windows and possible reflections.

03Clear next step

You receive a practical note with assumptions, points of attention and possible measures.

HEAT-PUMP ROUTE

From heat-pump scan to an assessment that fits your property.

An acoustic assessment is one part of good preparation. We first map the outdoor unit, its location and the available product data. This makes clear which technical basis is sensible and which questions should be put separately to the installer, municipality or subsidy provider.

01Heat-pump scan

Send the address, a photo or drawing and the intended outdoor-unit type. We identify the information still needed for the route.

02Acoustic assessment

We assess the location and technical assumptions. Where needed, we identify measures or additional evidence before installation.

03RVO, ISDE and competent authority

ISDE subsidy, permits and sound assessment are separate routes. We make the evidence route clearer; the relevant authority makes its own decision.

40 dBrelevant national reference value

For an outdoor heat- or cold-generation installation next to directly adjacent homes, an additional sound limit applies. The exact assessment depends on the plot relationship, building type and the location of windows or doors. For apartments, mixed use or more complex sites, the assessment may differ.

Royal Label clarifies the technical assumptions and evidence route. The municipality, Omgevingsloket and competent authority decide whether a plan is permit-free, meets the rules or needs further information. ISDE conditions and the acoustic assessment are separate assessments.

When does your situation need its own scope?

Existing disturbance

A site measurement of a running outdoor unit, background noise or a complaint process needs its own scope.

Multiple or larger units

For multiple sources, commercial property, VvEs or a complex plot, we first determine the required approach.

Missing information

If unit data, drawings or a clear location are missing, we align an additional survey or calculation with you first.

YOUR SITUATION

Know where you stand before the outdoor unit is installed.

Send the address, a photo or drawing and the heat-pump type. We will assess which route fits your situation.

YOUR HEAT-PUMP ROUTE

Have your situation assessed directly.

Enter the address and available unit details. The acoustic heat-pump assessment is already selected; we then align the right route, required information and any next assessment with you.
