What does an MPG calculation show?
MPG is the Dutch assessment of a building’s material-related environmental impact over its lifecycle, including relevant replacements. The result is expressed per square metre of gross floor area per year.
A lower score means lower calculated environmental impact within the same method. MPG is not an energy label and does not replace BENG.

Which rules apply to your project?
Dutch new-construction MPG rules changed on 1 July 2026, including the A2 method with 19 environmental categories and requirements for more building uses. Applicability and limits depend on building use, size, form and the relevant application date.
We check the framework during intake. Older scores are not directly comparable with A2 results, and not every renovation automatically requires a new-construction MPG assessment.

Already have a BENG adviser? Request MPG separately and provide the latest energy-design assumptions. Need both? The BENG + MPG option coordinates the drawings, material choices and installations.

Send the plans. Receive a project-specific quotation.
Provide the address, building use, number of units, gross floor area, plans, elevations and sections. Add material build-ups, quantities, specifications and the installation concept where available.
State the project phase and submission date. Missing information, the implementation route, reporting and revisions are agreed before commissioning. Daylight, ventilation, structural calculations and permit submission are not automatically included.

Can I request MPG separately?+
Yes. Select MPG in the enquiry form. Scope, price and delivery are confirmed before commissioning.
Does BENG include MPG automatically?+
No. They are separate assessments. The combined offer explicitly scopes and coordinates both.
What does MPG cost?+
The price depends on building use, scale, design complexity, available information and agreed revisions. You receive a project-specific quotation.
Does the report guarantee a building permit?+
No. The competent authority assesses the complete application. Calculation deliverables and any support are agreed in advance.
